After hiking the hill last night, most of us was a quite tired today, but we where going to see something very nice! After a short train travel we where in Worcester to see the cathedral and is was fantasic! What a great history it also had and so many details. Afterwards we had some free time which the girls, Adrian and myself used to eat at a cafe and got to shop a bit.
When we got home I took a nap at the lawn, lovely ! At 15:30 we had two enterpreneurs coming to tell us about their projects and what they saw as some of the most important things. Really educational!

Today we were working in groups, getting ready to answer the questions from yesterday. It went pretty well I think, we got the problem from the White Haywood, where we should try to found more customers for her. We had some good ideas and discussions today, and I felt like I learnt a lot. I think all did very good work today, and the enterprenenurs seemed pleased.

Today have by far been the most interesting day so far ! We were out seeing 3 different enterprenenurs, hearing their backstories and got to se their life project. Awesome experience !
First we saw Christine Hope's shop "Hope og Longtown" which was like a mini tiny supermarked, out in the local. Christine came back from Austria and decided they missed a vilage shop. It all developet within a few months. She got a really good deal with the bank, which ment that she didn't have to pay a lot in the begining, where she just were getting startet. She work a lot with business plans.
She is trying to get out on the media, ex. Twitter, Facebook, Pinster, she want to communicate with a younger audience, but she doesn't have a direct plan. Tommrow some will be looking at her 2 problems which are:
1. How do she reach younger shoppers?
2. There is missing a sign, there will make people stop.
The next enterpreneur we saw was Pauline Goodwin and her restaurant "White Haywood". The farm has been in the familiy for 4 generations. She wants to show hos good simply food still can be, but the main business is still the farm, where she get a lot of her ingrediens from. There is no onw to take over the farm and restaurant his they passed away. Like Christine Pauline also wants to talk with the community, mainley they have a webside, Tripadviser and Twitter. Sadly there aren't much internet, which cost them some problems. Most of their costumers are couples, famileys and walkers. There two problems are:
1. How do they get more costumers?
2. If someone got ill, what will they do then ?
The last business we saw were "Wiggly Wigglers", "Farmer Phil" and "Great British Florist". 3 very exciting businesses. They told us so much, I can't even write it all down, but i can give some keywords for them.
Bird feed, Bokashi, Flowers, Social Media, New ways, Trust, Worms and Profit.
But I think you should tjek out their webside youself: http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk/

Sorry for not putting up a blog yesterday, but no worry I just do it now!
We did our businesses plans finished, and started to look how you would build a business plan up. What is important and what is not. It was really good and you can always use that. We mostley agreed on what should be at the top and in the buttom, and Chris told us that many sets the summery in the begining, which I think is an good idea as well. It gives the reader a good overview and makes it more interesting. Next there should be something about youself and some might put finans as number 3, others choosed how to do it, which is the one I would use.
After that we had Lynsey from SocialB out to tell us about using the social media as an marketing. Is was really really good, think we all learned a lot. There so many things I'm taking back home to my organisation.
We were dacing folk dance at the afternoon, OMG is was fun, enjoyed it a lot !

So we are done with the two first sessions, in the first we had to tell what a enterprenenur was. We got points, like they often are innovative, riskey, inventors and leasers. We got in groups a person to to talk about and we got Alan Sugar. Never heard of him before, but he was quite cool. Surprise for Emma. 2nd and 3rd session we will talk about business planning, which I think is really important and I feel like many young creative enterprenenurs don't know how and won't make it. I'm glad we're learning it then.
Many are tired from yesterday, we had the international buffet. My god there were a lot of different and (for me) wird thinks. I didn't taste that much of it and most of the things I tasted were bad for my danish mouth. But we danced a lot, or I did, but it was a lot of fun. I hope I have time to blog later, it's kinda funny really. I wish i could load up fotos and stuff, but my internet is so bad... You have to live without it.
